One of Toyota’s most popular hatchbacks, especially in the European market, has definitely been the Toyota Yaris. The fans of this affordable and fuel-efficient car will be glad to hear that its refreshed version is going to hit the market as a 2019 Toyota Yaris model.
The 2019 Toyota Yaris will be available in two configurations – as a two-door and a four-door hatchback. It will also offer three trim versions – L, LE and SE. Of course, the exterior features and equipment will depend on the trim you choose where the SE will offer the best package. When it comes to exterior design, the new Yaris will seem wider and lower. Both its front and rear part will be completely redesigned. In the front fascia you will find a gaping-mouth grille and massive redesigned bumper with larger air intakes. The SE version will get a black mesh grille that will have chrome edges. The SE will definitely look sportier and more attractive and it will get 16-inch aluminum wheels with dark details. Otherwise, the new Yaris will be standing on standard 15-inch wheels. This model will acquire a sharper and more aerodynamic nose. The LED headlights will be redesigned as well. It has been said that this car will also offer at least one new body paint – the Blue Eclipse.
You will definitely get more standard equipment inside the 2019 Toyota Yaris, but its cabin will also undergo some significant upgrades and improvements. It will use better-quality materials and be more comfortable. Technology will be enhanced as well so you can expect a touch-screen display in the center console with the infotainment and entertainment system. The L and LE trims will get a 6.1-inch touch screen and options such as audio system with six speakers, MP3, CD player, USB ports and Bluetooth connection. A bigger 7.0-inch touch-screen display can be found in SE version and it will add features such as navigation system, satellite radio, hands free, HD radio, voice recognition and Sirius XM. The 2019 Yaris will include Safety Sense C package which includes automatic high-beams, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning and others.
When it comes to engine that the 2019 Toyota Yaris will be using under its hood, the most possible version that has been discussed recently includes a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. It should deliver 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque. It will be mated to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. We expect more information soon.
